How to stop no-shows at your salon
A no-show is an empty chair you already turned other clients away for. The fix is ordinary, and it works better when the whole salon does it the same way.
Confirm by WhatsApp the day before. Take a small deposit for long services. Keep a short waiting list of clients who asked for a sooner time. A booking calendar the front desk and the stylists both see is what makes those three habits possible. Aphria's appointment book is described on the salon appointment booking page.
Confirm while the client still remembers
A message the morning of the appointment is often too late. The day before is when people rearrange their week. Use the same wording every time, so a junior at reception can send it without inventing a new script.
A deposit for the long services
A blow-dry can be filled from the waiting list. A colour or a bridal trial cannot. Ask for a small deposit when you book those, and say clearly whether it comes off the bill.
